7 months behind....

You'd think since it was a long winter I would have had time to post, but I was busy entertaining my children and making sure that everyone stayed healthy. Spring sprang late, but arrived although briefly and now we're in full summer swing. We've done some traveling during the past few months. First Disney with the Hochberg grandparents and just returned from a visit to Minneapolis. We've had some visitors too which has been great. My plan today is to give a little update and then a photo dump so get ready for some cute pics! Here goes... Mikaela is thriving. She still gets up early and goes strong all day. She had a great year in school and is enjoying her first summer of camps. As I write she's at "Patriotic Pals" learning all about why being an American is awesome. She also attended a nature camp while I went on a girls trip to Santa Fe. At the end of July she'll be playing princess at "Medieval Days." Mikaela's personality is really developing. She's sweet and sassy, very adventurous, is a little fish at the pool, and loves her family and friends dearly. She has a great memory and is super creative. Graeme is finally talking! This past week he made great strides and we're getting complete sentences which is a relief on many counts. Mostly it allows me to get through the day without going crazy from his crying because he can tell me what he wants. He's a sweet boy, very outgoing. I took him to the school he will start in the Fall yesterday to drop off some paper work. We were lucky to get to play on the playground with some 2 yr olds from a class and he made fast friends. It's so great to see him smile and play with little people. Graeme is very good at keeping himself occupied with his trains and cars. He loves to be outside. All in all the kids are great. We've almost been in Baltimore 2 years and I feel like we're settled. Everyone has friends, we stay busy with play dates. We love the time we get to spend with family. My only wish is that the sun would come out a little more often, but Dave is just fine with the weather! Hope you all are doing great as well.
